Behavior Technician

Job Description

In this rewarding role, you will work directly with children to implement individualized ABA therapy plans, providing crucial support in their development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Therapy Plans: Follow individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address behavioral and developmental goals.
Conduct Therapy Sessions: Engage children in structured activities designed to improve social skills, communication, and adaptive behaviors.
Monitor Progress: Track and record data on each child’s progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
Collaborate with Families: Work closely with parents and caregivers to provide updates on progress and offer guidance on reinforcing strategies at home.
Support a Positive Environment: Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages learning and personal growth.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a related field is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience working with children, especially those with developmental or behavioral challenges, is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Certifications: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
